Julie and Dave are getting married this February at Boettcher Mansion, and they're determined to be outside despite the weather. How cool is that? Their determination is matched only by their incredible chemistry together, and it's going to be a pleasure to document their wedding. Clicking on their names above will take you to a slideshow with more of their pictures.

Colfax Photo Storm
Born in 1864, Colfax Avenue is the longest commercial street in the U.S.. Jack Kerouac wrote about it, drank in it's bars, and lived on it. South Park characters visit the famous Casa Bonita, with flame eaters, and supposedly terrible mexican food. This entry is dedicated to this fantastic street, and those who participate in this and future versions of the Colfax Cruise, a photo safari dedicated to the many wonders of Colfax Avenue.

Erin & Matt's Wedding
Back before the debut of our blog, we photographed Erin & Matt's wedding at the Arrowhead Golf Club. Now I've heard lots of vows and speaches before, but Matt blew them all out of the water with his hand written vows to Erin. It was a beautiful thing. Arrowhead is a spectacular venue by itself, but we also had perfect weather and deer running by us throughout the day. We're very excited that this wedding has recently been selected by Premier Bride Colorado magazine for a feature in their Spring issue! Their slideshow is linked on the right side of the blog, so please check it out for more of the story.
Congratulations to Erin and Matt, you guys had a beautiful wedding and were such a pleasure to work with!

Thank you, John and Cecilia, it was a pleasure to work with you. I hope you enjoy your pictures and have a great wedding!

Lauren & Jason's Steamboat Springs Wedding
On October 6th, 2007 we photographed Lauren and Jason’s wedding in Steamboat Springs. Along with lots of love and good times, the first snow of the season fell outside during their wedding. Thanks again to the newlyweds for braving the weather as we made some fun pictures outside. Congratulations Lauren and Jason, and thanks to everyone involved with their happy day. Jessica and I wish you the all the best.

Fruita MTB weekend
These pictures are from a long overdue camping weekend out in Fruita. I'd heard the trails were good, but couldn't believe my good fortune as I closed out the weekend with a two mile banked slalom course of a trail off 18 road. Thanks to Mitch, Matt, Matt, Todd, Brian and Dave for a great weekend of trails and hilarious campfire antics.

Jamie and Jesse
On September 16th, 2007 we photographed Jamie and Jesse’s wedding at the historic Grant Humphries Mansion in Denver. For a while we thought we’d all be inside for the ceremony, or drenched, but the rain cleared up just in time. Thank you everyone for a great time, this was the first wedding we’ve been to where the father of the bride was wearing a garter, we got to photograph the polka, and the bar was in an old fashioned bowling alley. Sure do wish we’d had a ball and pins. Thanks again. Congratulations Jamie and Jesse.

Pumpkin Carving Madness
Yesterday we had a great time with friends at our annual pumpkin carving contest. We were impressed with the talent that people brought, tasted Black Vodka (delicious, and tastes like vodka...oddly enough), and were touched by what great people we have in our lives. Thank you all for coming and helping us to have a great time. Black Vodka!

Lauren & Jason at Denver Art Museum
Lauren and Jason were into my idea for engagement photos at the Denver Art Museum, so off we went. This place is a wonderland of architecture and design, and we had fun walking around while I captured some of their love and affection in action. Seriously, when you have two people into eachother like Lauren and Jason, it's good times and great photo opps. We also got to know eachother a little better so they'd be more comfortable with me and the camera at their Steamboat wedding. Pictures of their wedding be coming soon, so please check back.
