Dee Dee & Steven

Dee Dee and Stephen had an intimate wedding at Boettcher Mansion on June 12, 2008. They've had a great journey together already, and I know they will enjoy many more adventures and years together. Thanks to everyone who made me feel such a welcome part of their wedding. And last but not least, the antique car was such a fun element of the day. Good times!

Andrea & Travis Engagement

We took Andrea and Travis down to Confluence Park, by the Denver REI. Neither of them had been to the area, and they were surprised at the beauty of the park. Needless to say, we had a great time walking around the park, and taking pictures of the fantastic connection these two have. Thank you, and we're looking forward to your wedding.

West Denver Business Builders new website networking for professionals

Jessica and I have been members of a small networking group called Denver Business Builders for about a year now. We get together once a month to talk about our businesses and things we can do to promote each other. Our recent home buying experience was smooth and easy with the help of fellow member Dean Sargent of Liberty Financial Group. Overall, it's been a fun way to get to know professionals from a wide variety of professions and backgrounds. Thanks to everyone involved!

Mieka & Richard Get Married

Mieka and Richard were married in a small private ceremony on May 25, 2008. We were so honored to be a part of their fantastic day. There is something particularly beautiful and intimate about a backyard wedding. There were so many surprises in their day. Mieka surprised Richard the the BMW he's always dreamed of. Richard surprised Mieka with beautiful pearl earrings, and they both surprised family and friends with their wedding! Thank you for including us in your day.

Aaron & Emily got married!

Aaron and Emily got married at the Aspen Glen Club in Glenwood Springs, Colorado May 24, 2008. Thank you Aaron and Emily for allowing us to be a part of your day. Your wedding was wonderful and we truly felt like a part of your family by the end of the evening.

The Carriage House, Boulder homeless shelter charity work

Sometimes you just have to give back a little to others, and I've been happy to donate my photography time on occasion to the Carriage House for their marketing and fundraising materials. They're a homeless care center in downtown Boulder that serves a fairly large population of people in a very small building. Click the link in the title above to find out more about their mission. Who knows, maybe you'll get involved too.

Colfax Cruise 2008

Kevin and I fell in love with Colfax Avenue last December when we braved 1 foot of falling snow to go on a photo-safari with other photographers. This time, there was no snow, but the sense of adventure lived on. Since I"m six months pregnant, the combination of the heat that day and the walking slowed me down. But didn't stop me from enjoying all that the FAX has to offer. Here are some of my favorite pictures from the Cruise.

This cruise was very different than our winter slog. We covered much less distance and got to walk the 'Fax seeing more along the way. Here's some of my favorites from the day that were captured between our many watering hole stops. The real story is that the cruise is a fun outing with new and old friends with cameras as an excuse!


This is our friend Kara helping a disabled guy along with his chair. I often saw her talking and relating to random people throughout the day. Go Kara!

J.J. & Phil's Engagement

As many of you know, Jessica is pregnant and due in September, so our friend and assistant Rachel Weaver will be shooting Phil and J.J's wedding in her place. Rachel and I had a great time with Phil and J.J. and got some fantastic pictures at the same time. Phil and J.J. met on Match.com, and are what you'd call a perfect match. Perhaps they'll be cast in their next commercial. Like most Colorado couples, they love their dogs, and we're always happy to have people's dogs along on shoots. Their dogs were a bit camera shy that day, and didn't seem to enjoy having their pictures taken, but we were able to get a few nice shots of them as well.
